Conjunction Junction, What's Your Function?

You may have noticed, like Sara had long before I did, that there are two bright "stars" close together in the night's sky. You probably figured that one was Venus -- and you'd be correct. The other, though, is our largest planet: Jupiter. And tonight, they'll both be joined with a crescent moon.

We had clear skies last night -- it was very pretty.
Supposedly, Venus will be getting brighter thoughout the month. Paul Harvey called it our "Christmas Star". I think it and Jupiter will also be getting closer for a while, if I recall correctly.
Yes, I did see Venus and
Yes, I did see Venus and Jupiter with the crescent moon. So awesome! The night skies are really neat right now. And yes I have been watching the new BIG moon for several days. Makes me feel so special. I like Paul Harvey's comment.
